Nourishing Cider Recipe

Fall is in full swing! There's a chill in the air, perhaps a little more moisture, and many landscapes beaming bright Autumn colors set against cool gray skies.
Snuggle up with this warm beverage that is sure to nourish your body, lift your spirits, and keep you grounded.
Sarvaa's Autumn "Simmer Down" Cider
Servings: 1 - 2
Time in the Kitchen: 15 minutes
2 cups of organic unfiltered apple juice.
2 cinnamon sticks.
1/2 Tbsp. whole cloves, more or less to taste,
2 Tbsp. peeled and sliced ginger root.
1/2 tsp. Sarvaa Adrenal Assist.
In a medium sauce pan, bring the apple juice, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and ginger to a boil. Let it simmer covered at a low boil for about 15 minutes. Stir occasionally, scraping down the sides as needed. Then turn off the heat and remove it from the burner, allowing it to cool for about 2 minutes without the lid. Strain the liquid into your favorite mug. Gently stir in Sarvaa Adrenal Assist into your mug. (By not boiling Adrenal Assist, you preserve its enzymes and probiotic qualities.)
Tip: You can keep the boiled cinnamon sticks, cloves, and ginger for another batch of cider or add into other recipes. Use within a couple of days.
Store any remainder in an air tight container (we like glass jars) and store in the refrigerator. It tastes best when consumed within 3 days.
